Tommy's Room

 My name is Tommy, of course. I am building a companion machine. The childhood dream was a spaceship. The teenage dream was a futuristic car. My youthful imagination and real world experience has turned this machine into a bit of both, and a few extra things I’ve discovered in between. 

 I was an 80s kid. When sci-fi was everywhere and we were inventing the things most of us take for granted today. I say that to help shape the origin and destination for you. This machine is based on one fundamental thing: I can’t build a spaceship. The sky’s the limit, otherwise, in my mind. My childhood memories are irrelevant. I am discussing origins, concepts, troubleshooting, and practicality. As I go over the systems and features of this machine. I will breakdown the mechanisms, products and applications of the build. A clear understanding of the origins of the concepts will explain the real world practicality. A clear understanding of the mechanisms of these products discussed, will explain the soundness of the final project. This is primarily my build, but this site is about finding commonly overlooked solutions to sometimes uncommon projects. Form definitely follows function with my machine.
